Member Qualifications

The Award Associates is extremely dedicated to adding quality members, who are dedicated to their trade and are visionaries driven to enrich the Association as a whole. Potential applicants are recommended from present members, vendor partners and industry experts. Prospective members must meet all requirements to be considered for membership prior to being put to a vote before the membership in whole.

    • Candidates must have over $750k in sales
    • The company must be reputable, and have comprehensive industry recommendations and good credit standing with vendors
    • The nominee must be experienced in the awards market
    • An applicant must have a store front and present a professional shop in their area
    • The location of the candidates’ showroom must be outside a radius of 150 miles of existing member and non-predatory national website
    • If the shop location of the candidate is within the 150 mile radius, membership may be viable if the nearest member does not have concern of infringement in their area and states so to the Board of Directors
    • Member agrees to pay dues billed quarterly
    • Invoices for group purchases/warehouse orders must be paid no later than 15 days

 

  • If qualified…
    • Contact the Association Office for referral to the Membership Committee
    • The new member must fill out a Membership Application
    • The Member is then presented to the full membership for Voting
    • If Acceptance is given by a majority – the member is contacted by the Office and procedures for integration/training begin
